Guidelines
1. This is a multi-muse, semi-selective OC blog. I have a preference for other original characters but I'll still write with canon characters if we can find a way to interact that is not dependent on the source material.2. I do asks and threads, whatever is easier for my partner. Usually, my replies are two small paragraphs or longer. I write in third person, and generally use the present tense.3. If you want to interact with a specific muse/AU, please tell me. If an ask is sent without previous plotting, and no specification, I’ll pick the muse I’m feeling the most like.4. I try my best not to drop threads, but if I’ve just lost the muse for them, I will give you due warning, and I hope you do the same for me.5. If you’re also an OC blog, please try to have an About page or pinned post with information so I know something about your muse.6. I only write with people over 18. No minors.7. Beware the dark themes that will naturally occur on this blog: murder, harm to minors, incest, sexual violence, abuse, cannibalism, religious themes, and more. Additional warnings for in-character misogyny and ableism. I don't expect you to write any of this, but also don't expect me to not write any of this.8. General roleplay etiquette is expected, so no godmodding (taking control over my muse without previous discussion), killing off characters without previous discussion, etc.9. All of my muses are queer and primarily interested in men. Exceptions exist, but just be aware that shipping with female muses is very limited. For non-binary muses, it depends on chemistry. (You have no idea how long it took me to phrase this rule, and I'm still not happy with it.)About Me

The Muses
Adam aka Ace

Gender/Sexuality: Cisgender man, homosexual, demisexual. Ace likes men, but it takes a lot for him to be interested in sleeping with someone.
Quick Overview: Victor's middle son, Adrian's younger brother and Aaron's older twin. Unemployed, previously an Army mechanic. Loves working with machines. Suffers from PTSD, is missing his left lower limbs, has impaired vision and hearing on his left side, and burn scars cover the left half of his body. Extremely poor health. Lives with Aaron, is severely abused. Lethargic, sad, obedient, Ace doesn't have much energy for anything anymore. He's not allowed to leave the house or use any sort of communication devices.

Gender/Sexuality: Cisgender man, pansexual, aromantic. Aaron loves sleeping around, but don't expect him to ever fall in love.
Quick Overview: Youngest of the three sons. Abattoir technician. Recovered drug addict. Murderer. Hedonistic, sadistic, arrogant, impulsive. His heart is weak from his drug abuse. Has dyslexia, hates reading, atrocious handwriting. Lives away from the family with his twin, Ace, whom he neglects and abuses. Aaron enjoys this position of power immensely and has made sure the family and Ace cannot reconcile.

The Story (Under Construction)
Taken from an ask on Tumblr:I deleted some information from my carrd because I thought it was getting too cluttered and confusing and turns out that I just made things worse... So, I apologize, thank you so much for your ask, which I will answer now, but also I might have to take another look at my carrd to see if I can just... fix that.Infodump start! Main timeline!I will skip over the first few generations of the Graves family, but the essential information is that two adoptive brothers settled into the recently-independent United States and began their own very strange family. They adopted two sons, raising them together, who then would go on to do the same, on and on and on until you reach Victor Graves.(Yes, this is pretty cult-y but without the religion.) (Also sometimes they adopted three sons just in case something happened to one of them.)Victor had a pretty rough life due to his abusive father. I'll skip the details, but the man killed his younger brother, his youngest son and his first grandson in very quick succession, prompting Victor to, huh, make sure his father made a expeditious one-way trip to the graveyard. So, at this point, the Graves are Victor and his younger brother Colin.At this point, and in a sort of 'give the depressed man a dog so he doesn't kill himself' situation, Victor adopted Adrian, his eldest son, to keep Colin busy and with a reason to live. A few years later, Victor was meant to adopt another son, but he couldn't bring himself to separate twins, and that's how Ace and Aaron joined the family.As to how Aaron got like that, the thing is, he was always like that. He's a sociopath, has been since birth (a combination of genetics and a bad mother). Victor's greatest failing as a parent was never getting Aaron therapy, even though the boy was very clearly off. (Everyone in this family needs fucking therapy.)Ace, on the other hand, was a sweet angel who perhaps liked insects a little too much, but compared to Aaron, yeah, he was a saint. In an incident that I hesitate to describe in detail without five hundred trigger warnings on the post, let's just say Aaron hurt his twin really badly when they were 17. And when Ace asked for help from their older brother, he was ignored. So Ace ran away, cut contact.Joined the military. Got a degree. Got a fiancé. Got blown up.He was flown back to the US, and through Victor pulling some strings, he got sent home to his family, who he hadn't seen in a few years. This is when Aaron struck. Taking advantage of Ace's vulnerable state (having lost a lot of himself, both physically and mentally at that point), he convinced everyone that it'd be better if Ace came to live with him, a couple of hours away from the family cabin.The Graves' history is a study in the bystander effect.Both Victor and Adrian felt something was off (Adrian knew), but they did nothing. And so Aaron took over. He'd had a few years to learn how to pretend to be normal better. The mask came off the moment the door closed behind them. He convinced Ace that the family hated him, and at the same time told everyone else he didn't want to see them. Isolation.While Ace was in the military, Aaron had a pretty wild life: alcohol, sex, drugs and murder (which actually corresponds to my first blog, before I rewrote most of the lore).(Can you imagine the twins used to love each other?)He's had time to learn how to hurt people without getting caught, and to make connections with all sorts of people.And this is a condensed version of the lore!
